The founders of the club are citizens of Russia, Sweden and Indonesia.
We plan to bring together people interested in promoting sailing, yachting and other water activities in the city of Banyuwangi and East Java in Indonesia.
The eastern part of the island of Java is a protected area, so far little visited by tourists. Banyuwangi is a small town at the eastern tip of the island - a transit point between the island of Java and Bali.
The island of Java is the pristine beauty of untouched nature, equatorial forests, many waterfalls, more than 100 volcanoes with forested slopes, a winding coastline with many coves, bays and beaches, crystal clear water and a diverse underwater world.
Temperatures all year round range from + 23 to +26 °C – which is especially attractive for Russians.
The club has a spacious marina for parking ships with all the necessary infrastructure. Sailing and motor yachts for organizing holidays and trips around the area. The center of our club today is a restaurant - one of the few in Banyuwangi that serves really delicious food - with stunning views of the bay and the famous Gunung Ijen volcano. The wine room offers fine wines from all over the world.
We invite sponsors, partners, and tour operators to cooperate in order to jointly develop the Banyuwangi International Yacht Club and create a point of attraction for Russians on the other side of the world.
