Umbria, Conshelf and Road of Life Films at Moscow Dive Show 2017

26 Jan 2017

On Thursday, February 2, on the main stage of Moscow Dive Show 2017 at 3 pm, you can watch a selection of best works of film director and experienced diver, master underwater filmmaker Dmitry Stolbov. He was the winner at festivals AkvaFilm (Grand Prix), Golden Dolphin-2007 (1st place), Fins & Films-2011 (1st place), I Will Dream of The North (Grand Prix), etc.
His films Umbria, Conshelf and Road of Life will be screened at the show.

The name Umbria has become famous thanks to one of the pioneers of deep sea exploration Hans Hass. He first introduced this ship to the world during his dives. The film was made 75 years after the sinking of Umbria.

Conshelf tells the story of a well-known experimental project by Jacques Yves Cousteau, dedicated to the underwater life of famous aquanauts. The author aimed to show what has left from this experiment at the bottom of the Red Sea and to remind about the glorious name of the person who carried it out.

Filmed in 2014, the Road of Life pays tribute to those whose spirit was unbroken, those who showed courage saving lives and delivering supplies across Ladoga lake to the besieged Leningrad. The enemy was in every way trying to interfere with traffic on this road, and the evidence of heroism of people who worked there can still be seen today at the bottom of the lake.
Do not miss it.
