Underwater painting by Olga Belkina at Moscow Dive Show 2018

25 Jan 2018

Underwater painting by Olga Belkina (aka Olga Belka) will be exhibited at Moscow Dive Show for the first time. Previously, Moscow Dive Show hosted only a photo show, but this year we plan an exposition of underwater painting.

The show’s organizers have invited an underwater artist Olga Belkina not only to demonstrate her paintings, but also to share her secrets with the visitors. Olga will fly from Thailand to Russia specifically for this event only for a few days.

Olga Belkina's performance will take place on February 1 at 13:00 on the main stage. The underwater artist will share her artistic plans and tell how she developed her own technology of underwater painting.

You will also be able to watch a movie about the birth of the collection "Dreams of a mermaid: underwater painting by Olga Belkina", where you will see how Olga creates her paintings, inspired by the elusive beauty of moments spent at the sea.

Olga promised to be present at Moscow Dive Show during the whole period of the exhibition, so everyone will have the chance to meet her, get an autograph and even a special gift.

Underwater artist Olga Belkina is a professional diver. Great experience in both painting and diving helped her overcome optical distortions of color and shape in the water. She developed a unique technology of painting in salt water, allowing to paint pictures from life, conveying the finest details of the underwater world, and to achieve lasting colors and amazing durability of the paintings.
