One important report at Moscow Dive Show

01 Feb 2018

At 17.00 on the main stage of the Moscow Dive Show 2018, Konstantin Bogdanov, leader of the exploratory diving team, presented a unique report on two submarines SHCH-320 and SHCH-406 series that went missing in the vicinity of the Gulf of Finland in 1942 and 1943 years and were discovered by the team during the expedition only in May 2017.

The report described the history of the war in the Gulf of Finland, which showed the arduous task that our submariners faced. Each sortie of the submarine could be, and often was, the last! During the Great Patriotic War, 45 submarines and over 3,500 submariners perished in the Gulf of Finland.

When the report was over, a daughter of one of the submariners (SHCH-406) who went missing, stood up from the audience, tears in her eyes, and thanked Konstantin Bogdanov and the entire diving team for the work done and for the invaluable contribution they make to the coverage of the great history of our country.

Dear friends, there are three more busy days of Moscow Dive Show 2018 ahead. Every day on the main stage there will be unique performances, reports from expedition participants, interesting films, lectures and seminars.
Only once a year and only at Moscow Dive Show. Do not miss!
