On Thursday, February 8, the Moscow Dive Show 2024 will host divers with reports for the past season, new ideas, personal experience and plans for the future.

We published the first part of the block topics earlier. You can find it on the daivshow website https://www.diveshow.ru/news/1585/

In addition, we will discuss the following topics::

Work of the Istra-Dive Club to train disabled people in diving and involve them in public life
Dmitry Lyapin, head of the Istra-dive scuba diving Club; Vladimir Bliznyuk, CMAS instructor***, instructor for working with disabled people;
Alexey Bykov with his son Sergey (diagnosed with mental retardation, epilepsy, autism).

Dmitry Lyapin: history of the club, training of disabled people in diving, socially significant projects of the club and the youth movement "Local": Clean beach-clean water, implemented at the Istra reservoir with the participation of invadivers.
Vladimir Bliznyuk: psychological and practical basics of training disabled people in diving on the example of the club's work and the VOI master classes held at the site of the AMAKS Novaya Istra Resort hotel.
Alexey and Sergey Bykov: our way under the water. Initial diving training through the eyes of a father and son.

What was inclusive diving in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra in 2023
Yuri Alexandrov, Surgut Public Organization of disabled people of the All-Russian Society of Disabled People, Surgut;
Oleg Lentz, Master Instructor of CMAS, Orca Diving Club, Khanty-Mansiysk;Oleg Chlek, President of the Urai city Public Youth Organization "Federation of Extreme Sports", instructor in sports and Sports of the Russian Federation of Disabled People. diving, Uray.

We work in different cities and in different directions:
- The city of Khanty-Mansiysk. We have successfully completed a social project supported by the Governor's grant "Colors of the underwater world of Ugra are available to everyone". We took part in two master classes in the cities of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra. More than 48 inclusive classes on "aquakinesotherapy" (swimming under water while holding your breath) were held at the SOUTH pool. Classes with a psychologist were held: two group and four individual meetings for project participants and their families. Based on the results of the meetings, it is important to note that the participants were able to overcome existing doubts and fears, and increase their self-esteem. During the summer period, four inclusive trips to the "open water" were held.
- The city of Kogalym. Thanks to the previous master classes on paradiving, the number of teenagers with disabilities engaged in it has increased. Two POD teenagers underwent preoperative and postoperative recovery through classes in the section. There was an age gradation among the volunteers taking part in the work of the section. As a result, the group uses mentoring from senior volunteers. Three senior volunteers began to work in the oceanarium of the SKK "Galaktika" as divers, raising their skills to the fifth category. We provide equipment and specialists for working with difficult teenagers. In the city of Raduzhny, a master class on open water diving was held and all the prerequisites for the development of inclusive diving were created (there are instructors and material and technical support). In our opinion, the organization that is able to cope with this task in Raduzhny is the REGIONAL PUBLIC ORGANIZATION "BROTHERHOOD OF VETERANS OF SPECIAL FORCES" RUS " IN THE KHANTY-MANSI AUTONOMOUS OKRUG-UGRA.
- The city of Urai. We held three events in the territory of the Kondinsky district, and also took part in master classes in the cities of Megion and Nizhnevartovsk. Two sets of equipment were purchased.
- The city of Surgut. We trained 10 people and issued certificates of divers, seven of them with disabilities. We organized master classes in the cities of Megion and Nizhnevartovsk. Trial dives are systematically conducted and preparations for diving competitions among disabled people are being made on an ongoing basis.
The development of inclusive diving in the region provides all the prerequisites for the creation of an underwater sports federation in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of Yugra.

Changing the rules of disabled diving competitions
-trainer, Children's diving Instructor, disabled people's activities, TDI NITROX instructor, ADVANCED TRIMIX DIVER TDI, TECHNICAL CAVE DIVER IANTD. Master of Sports of the USSR in underwater sports, judge of the All-Union category in underwater sports. Diver of the 8th category (diving specialist). Head of the Department of underwater sports among disabled people of the Federal Migration Service of Russia, head of the Voronezh Regional underwater Club "200 bar".
Middle-aged people (30++) are engaged in diving among disabled people (at least in our country), so the growth of results is mainly observed at the initial stage of classes due to the development of swimming techniques and tactics of performing exercises.
Our club has been holding inter-regional competitions among disabled people for 9 years. Initially, when we adapted the competition rules for classes with disabled people, we greatly simplified them. Now, after some time, a dilemma arises: simple exercises allow poorly trained participants to participate in competitions, but are not very interesting for experienced ones; and complex exercises are a problem for beginners.
We are currently thinking about how to maintain a balance of interests.

Influence of the environment without gravity on the rehabilitation process of people with mental disabilities. Evidence-based practice from 2004 to 2024
Branko Ravnak, "IAHD Adriatic";
Veronika Viktorovna Starkova, Lomonosov Moscow State University;
Stanislav Pinter, University of Ljubljana;
Ana Golaj, University of Ljubljana.

The program "Diving as part of rehabilitation" dates back to 2004, and it is aimed at people with mental disabilities of various spectrum. The program is designed for such disabled people in the rehabilitation process, it acts as one of the ways to motivate them in order to achieve their involvement in the rehabilitation process both at its initial stage and in the later stages of re-rehabilitation. Over the course of twenty years, the designated program has been gathering knowledge and experience based on Evidence - based Practice (EBP), as well as using the IDA®method. Since 2023, in Slovenia, the state represented by the University Institute of Rehabilitation "Soca" ("URI So?a") and the Faculty of Sports of the University of Ljubljana became interested in the developments and invited IAHD Adriatik to cooperate. Its goal was to structure the collected knowledge and introduce this knowledge into the curriculum, as well as train and retrain future professionals to work with the designated group of disabled people. All this is done to ensure that movement in a gravity-free environment is free and accessible to all, regardless of physical or mental abilities, as set out in the 1975 Declaration on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Accessible Environment Foundation celebrates its 13th anniversary this year, and all these years we have been working on the basis of the Aqua-Globus Underwater club (Anapa), which is already ... 25 years old. As a result of the joint activities of the Foundation and the club in the development of paradiving, information about this area has spread throughout Russia, dozens of master classes have been held in different cities, hundreds of trial dives have been made for disabled people in the Black Sea, dozens of disabled people have been trained, for whom diving has become a permanent occupation, helped them to socialize: find themselves, get a job, start families, give birth to children.
The scope of work has expanded towards classes with disabled children, and the program of children's inclusive diving has been operating for many years.
The current direction – Physical and social adaptation and rehabilitation of members of the SVO-has been launched.
