For many years, the Open Water Challenge project has been performing the mystery of transformation: a person deprived of mobility on land gains freedom of movement underwater. Dmitry Knyazev's project, using the example of how people with disabilities expand these very capabilities, demonstrates to us that it is possible to become stronger than circumstances. And of course, we want to show this to as many people as possible. And you can really help the project right now.
Underwater photographer Maxim Trusevich took part in one of the Open Water Challenge dive safaris in the southern Red Sea, who saw divers with disabilities diving for the first time. Maxim has seen a lot under water, but he was very impressed by the freedom of people with disabilities underwater during scuba diving. Maxim Trusevich took a whole series of photographs in which everyone can now see how a person, constrained by an injury or illness on land, gains freedom of movement underwater.
Photos by Maxim Trusevich with paradivers will be presented at the underwater photography exhibition at Moscow Dive Show 2025.
A total of 115 and a half thousand rubles will be needed to design the exposition at the exhibition. This amount includes: - 18 photo panels 50x70 (printing, foam mounting + aluminum frame with a suspension system) and a poster-announcement about the exhibition, all - 80 thousand rubles; - rental of 10 exhibition panels with lighting for placing photographs - another 20 thousand rubles; services for installation of the exposition - 5 thousand rubles; - deductions to the crowdfunding platform Planeta.ru, through which funds are collected - 10% of the collected amount.
Most of the amount has already been collected through the efforts of caring people, but not all. The organizing team of Moscow Dive Show calls on everyone who has the desire and opportunity to help the project and take part in the collection.

After the exhibition, the exhibition will be placed in the State Budgetary Institution Center for Social Rehabilitation of Disabled People (Pushkin, Leningrad Region), where it will show the Center's patients the way to the underwater world, to the freedom that it brings.
