A friendly team of high-altitude diving specialists led by multiple Russian and world record holders, instructors of the National Dive League, ambassadors of the international waterman exhibition Moscow Dive Show, members of the Russian Geographical Society Konstantin Izotov and Yuri Kashin decided to conduct a high-altitude underwater expedition "Depth of Height 2025" in August 2025 to the unexplored high-altitude lake Giybashkel, located at an altitude of 3154 meters above sea level on the territory of the Kabardino-Balkarian State Nature Reserve.

The expedition will be held under the auspices of the Russian Geographical Society of the Moscow and Krasnodar branches and will be dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 180th anniversary of the Russian Geographical Society. This year, divers will face a number of difficult tasks. First of all, this is testing in extreme high-altitude conditions of underwater equipment produced by the General Partner of the expedition "AO PTS", a modern plant of specialized equipment for breathing apparatus, as well as combat and special protective clothing. In breathing apparatus and suits produced by "AO PTS", it is necessary to examine the high-mountain lake Giybashkel for its ecological state, study the flora and fauna, take depth measurements, and set a number of Russian and World records. Brave underwater explorers will have to make a long climb to the lake and live for several days in a tent camp high in the mountains. Their friends are helping in this difficult expedition: the OPEN DIVE diving equipment store, where you can buy quality diving equipment of any complexity in various price categories, the National Dive League, the AQUADISCOVERY company, the Administration of the Bibirevo Municipal District of Moscow, the Russia-1 Kabardino-Balkaria TV company, the Factor photo club, Kizlyar LLC, and the Kabardino-Balkarian State High-Mountain Reserve.

The expedition includes: organizers Konstantin Izotov and Yuri Kashin, Gomel Diving Center and the Underwater Research Center "Another Dimension", Elena Kashina, NDL divemaster, multiple Russian and world record holder in high-altitude diving, president of the Underwater Research Center "Another Dimension", Sergey Leksin, a famous explorer of the Caucasus, photographer and blogger, member of the Russian Geographical Society, employees of the reserve and the film crew of the TV channel "Russia-1 Kabardino-Balkaria".
