At the beginning of 2025, the National Dive League headed the Rosstandart subcommittee for the development of Russian state standards (GOSTs) for diving.
In addition, since this year, NDL specialists have been representing Russia in ISO in the development of international diving standards (committee (ISO/TC 228/WG 1).
In 2025, the National Dive League, as the head of the committee, launched active work, in particular:
- A new composition of the Rosstandart subcommittee for the development of GOSTs for diving was formed. - An official information page about the activities of the committee responsible for the development of GOSTs for diving was created on the NDL website diving.ndl-global.com/gost-iso - Direct participation in the development of new ISO international diving standards was taken at the ISO international conference. - Several comments and amendments were made to the draft version of the new international standard ISO/CD 25325 "Requirements for the training of Citizen Science Divers". - Proposals for the creation of a number of new GOSTs, as well as updating existing ones, were submitted to the National Standardization Program for 2026.
Development of GOSTs for Diving and all activities of the committee under the NDL's leadership are conducted as openly as possible. All drafts of new GOSTs will be made publicly available for public discussion.

As in previous years, the National Dive League team will participate in the Moscow Dive Show, the largest exhibition in Eastern Europe, in February 2026, which is traditionally attended by a large number of NDL instructors.
At the exhibition, you can discuss issues related to working within the NDL system, as well as any questions regarding the work of the new Rosstandart diving committee.
