The Freediving Federation is a non-profit and non-governmental organization created by Natalia Molchanova, the owner of more than 40 world records in freediving, which pays special attention not only to sports, but also to social activities.
In recent years, with the support of partner Capital Group, the federation has been expanding its horizons, discovering new amazing locations suitable for diving with breath-holding, actively introducing people in the regions to freediving, opening representative offices and organizing master classes, and with a healthy lifestyle, paying special attention to the environment and careful attitude to nature.
Children's freediving and parafridiving are developing by leaps and bounds.
In 2023, four new regional divisions were opened, 30 competitions were held according to the rules and with the support of the Freediving Federation.
Young freedivers competed in four events and parafridivers competed in eleven.
The first ice competitions were held beyond the Arctic Circle on the White Sea and the first competitions in the cold water of Lake Lama on the Putorana Plateau even further north – at the 69th parallel!
In Norilsk, with the support of the Norilsk Development Agency, the first free training course was launched, which was completed by more than 10 students. Freediving instructors came to the region from the FF with lectures and master classes in 2023.
A freediving festival and the first deep competitions for beginners were also held in the Ruskeala Mountain Park in Karelia.
The Freediving Federation is not going to stop there!
In the near future, another ice competition is planned – the Freediving Cup, this time on Lake Baikal, in the Olkhonsky district! As well as holding unique competitions on the island of Moneron (Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk).

The water Man exhibition Moscow Dive Show 2024 will be held in Moscow's Gostiny Dvor from February 8 to 11, 2024.
Ticket sales will start on November 15, 2023.
