Every year, society is pierced by news about fatal shark attacks on people in the Red Sea and other water areas. In order to understand why they attack, and how to avoid it, you need to know the biology and physiology of sharks, basic behavioral reactions and food reflexes. Each attack is based on a combination of provocative circumstances and improper human behavior.
On Saturday, February 10, at the Moscow Dive Show 2024, together with RuDIVE team leader and Candidate of Biological Sciences Dmitry V. Orlov, we will discuss all these factors, analyze the physiology and behavior of sharks, list potentially dangerous species, analyze real stories of recent years and tell you how to minimize incidents with sharks in the future.
