High-altitude diving for everyone. Myth or reality? - exhibition ambassadors Konstantin Izotov and Yuri Kashin at the Moscow Dive Show 2024

14 Jan 2024

The Other Dimension Underwater Research Center team has been conducting high-altitude research expeditions under the auspices of the Russian Geographical Society since 2017. The team already has several world records in the category of high-altitude diving and extensive experience in professional organization and planning of such events. One of these professional expeditions was called "On the edge of the possible" and this absolutely reflects the level of its complexity.

Is high-altitude diving always on the edge of the possible? It depends on your goals and objectives. The tasks are different: enjoy climbing and socializing with your expedition colleagues, enjoy the beauty of high-altitude lakes and mountain landscapes, change your surroundings and stay away from civilization for a while, make a scientific discovery or make a modest contribution to large-scale research, set a world record, go on the most extreme trip of your life, and so on next.

Multiple Russian and world record holders in high-altitude diving, members of the Russian Geographical Society, and ambassadors of the Moscow Dive Show 2024, Yuri Kashin and Konstantin Izotov, together with the National Dive League, have developed a course for training divers for high-altitude diving, which will be available for training in the summer of 2024. Pre-registration is already open.

The Underwater Research Center "Other Dimension" invites everyone who does not want to choose between diving and mountains in high-altitude underwater recreational tours of various complexity with optimized logistics delivery to the place of cargo and divers, as well as training courses on high-altitude diving under the NDL program.

On Friday, from the stage of the Moscow Dive Show 2024, project managers Konstantin Izotov and Yuri Kashin will talk about the program of the high-altitude course, as well as about the possible levels of difficulty of expeditions and, of course, how to become a participant in such a journey.

And on Saturday morning, on the big screen of the Moscow Dive Show, you will be able to watch a documentary film dedicated to the high-altitude expedition of the team of the Center for Underwater Research "Another Dimension", in which two world records were set. Look for the movie "On the edge of the possible" in the poster.

February 9 (Friday), 15: 00, Moscow Dive Show 2024 stage, Gostiny Dvor.
