"Depth without borders — - Amina Chernichenko
The youngest participant of the show Amina Chernichenko herself wrote us a touching letter about her love for diving and freediving. Amina is only 9 years old, since birth, the girl has a musculoskeletal disability, but this did not prevent her from becoming interested in water sports. Amina is a student of the Anapa scuba diving club "AquaGlobus" and independently dives. The girl also goes swimming in the pool and enjoys freediving. Amina's dream is to learn freediving at school from her idol in this field – Alexey Molchanov-and become a record holder. Amina gives presentations at school, tells her peers about the history of diving, secrets of underwater communication, types of equipment and many other details, and this year Amina added a whole course of lectures on freediving to the presentation. On the stage of the Moscow Dive Show, Amina will be awarded the Hero of the Deep 2024 award for her enthusiasm, love of underwater sports and significant contribution to the promotion of diving and freediving among her peers.
Freediving
"In one breath" - Alexey Molchanov
We have already lost count of how many times this hero will appear on the stage of the Moscow Dive Show to receive the well-deserved award again and again, but we were able to count all the world records for deep diving set in 2023-twelve (!). Twelve world records set in 2023 Alexey Molchanov. The deepest dive in monolast in one breath to date is 136 meters. We are proud and happy to welcome the 34-time world record holder to the Moscow Dive Show 2024 stage and invite you to be proud with us!
Freediving
"In one breath" - Andrey Matveenko
Andrey Matveenko-freediving instructor, world and Russian champion-in August 2023 at the CMAS Rules World Deep Diving Championships in Honduras became the absolute record holder in competitive deep freediving, successfully diving 134 meters in a monolayer in 3 minutes and 59 seconds. Andrey's record managed to hold on to the top line of the rating for only 5 minutes, immediately after Alexey Molchanov dived... Nevertheless, Andrey Matveenko has managed to do something that few people in the world can do and no one else in Russia (except Molchanov, of course), and we believe that this is just the beginning of an interesting and powerful rivalry, which we will be happy to watch.
