Friday, February 9, stage, 13:30 - Underwater monuments of Issyk-Kul. Results of the international archaeological expedition
In 2022, it was decided to revive the expedition, which began working on Lake Issyk-Kul (Kyrgyz Republic) back in Soviet times. Work has been suspended for the last 10 years. In 2023, the expedition carried out exploration work on the northern shore of the lake. Medieval and early Iron Age monuments were examined. The head of the Russian expedition team, Maxim Yuryevich Menshikov, will tell the story of underwater research in Issyk-Kul, explain why the monuments ended up under water and what the scientists’ future plans are, as well as how you can become a participant in such an expedition and help its development.
Saturday, February 10, stage, 15:30 - the Wild Underwater World natural photography festival turns 10!
Festival director Mikhail Kutuzov will appear on the stage of the Moscow Dive Show, who will award the authors of the best photographs of the festival in 2023 and talk about plans for the tenth anniversary festival in 2024, recruitment for which has already begun (details of participation on the website:
