The anniversary tenth exhibition of the water man is approaching, it's time to announce the topic to which we will pay a little more attention this time. Performances on stage, events in the conference hall and at the participants' stands, news on the Internet, articles in the magazine and all other ways to attract the attention of the diving and observing public. Everything will be dedicated to the peculiarities of recreational recreation in places where the water is not very warm, and sometimes is in a solid state of aggregation. But the colder, the more transparent, and the ice is sometimes more beautiful than rocks. This is what we will talk about, separately touching on the following aspects:
- Traveling around Russia. We have plenty of cold water - the Barents and White Seas in the north, the Sea of ??Okhotsk and Japan in the Far East, Baikal, the Putorana Plateau and a dozen more wonderful routes that the participants of the exhibition have prepared for the 2025 season. You can't buy this in an ordinary travel agency, meet the travel organizers at the exhibition and book the best dates.
- Traveling around the world. Russia is not the only country famous for its cool seas and ice; you can go on a cruise to Antarctica, Iceland and Greenland, or Chilean Patagonia. On large ships or sailing yachts. The Moscow Dive Show tourism fair also has this.
- Equipment. The modern era is great because of the abundance of technologies to ensure maximum comfort for such a thermally delicate creature as a human being. Now you don’t have to grind your teeth and overcome yourself, you just need to choose modern equipment – ??light dry or warm neoprene suits, cold-water regulators, polar snorkeling float suits, heated or unheated undergarments, thermal underwear, or insulated ponchos.
- Ice diving and ice free diving. Yes, yes, in recent years, those who like to dive lightly and hold their breath have joined those who dive under the ice with scuba gear. Let's consider all the options for ice diving, courses and sea trips, equipment, interesting routes and locations.
- Spearfishing. The colder the water, the more transparent it is. And there are places where it is icy all year round. But the fish there are beautiful and tasty. Let's talk about interesting places on the northern rivers and seas, discuss warm equipment and accessories.
- Non-diving in ice. And if you don't dive at all? That's also possible. The option of observing the underwater world from the surface is gaining momentum. You don't have to be a diver or a freediver to do this. You just need to put on a special float suit. There are more and more routes where this is possible every year.
- Young ichthyanders. Everyone is waiting for warm weather by the sea, and the most advanced ones are the first to start the swimming season with their children. We choose ready-made wetsuits for the little ones, as well as custom-made options from the best neoprene studios only at the Moscow Dive Show.
- Underwater photography.Bright colors and large dwellings are not only warm oceans, we will collect the best works made in cold waters by aquaphotographers of our country at the exhibition of underwater images. On Sunday, you can buy your favorite photos.
- Medicine. How does the body react to cold and hypothermia? What are the features of the reaction to cold in divers and freedivers? And underwater hunters can generally dive for hours in winter, is this useful or are there nuances? We will invite the best medical experts for a big conversation about the cold.
The poster is constantly updated and supplemented, in December we will publish a preliminary schedule of performances on stage and in the conference hall, and after the New Year the final version. Follow the news on diveshow.ru
