The team of underwater photographers DivePhotoTeam has started creating an underwater museum of paleoart figures. At the moment, an ancient plesiosaur, a creepy-looking angler fish and a red-listed Steller's sea cow, created by the skillful hands of Sergey Shanin, have already gone on a training underwater swim and taken part in the first underwater photo sessions. A giant ammonite, with the support of the diving center RuDIVE, has been placed in a permanent underwater parking lot in the depths of Spas-Kamenka near Moscow. Both beginners and experienced divers will be interested in discovering this man-made miracle among the flooded forest, and for underwater photographers, such exhibits will certainly become a source of great inspiration.

You can meet part of the DivePhotoTeam – Sergey Shanin, Denis Degtyarev and Evgenia Kirpichenkova – and ask them questions, including about the project, in February 2025 at the Moscow Dive Show 2025, where Sergey and Denis will speak about diving in Magadan, and Evgenia will share her impressions of a trip to the Commander Islands.

You can learn more about the project in the PaleoPhotoArt tg channel https://t.me/paleophotoart
