As part of the Moscow Dive Show 2025 photo exhibition, a competition codenamed "Classic Rules of Underwater Photography" will be held on the initiative and with the support of diver and head of SmartDive Sergey Gorpinyuk.
The goal of the competition is to remind photographers about the existence of classic rules for composition and to stimulate the emergence of high-quality works.
The competition will consider works participating in the Moscow Dive Show 2025 photo exhibition.
Sergey Gorpinyuk will personally determine the winners based on the following criteria for evaluating photographs: 1. Composition (compliance with the rules of the golden ratio, work with diagonals and directions of movement); 2. Work with light (exposure and lighting solutions); 3. Plot (the main highlight of the photograph).
The authors of the works that best correspond to the classic rules of underwater photography will receive valuable prizes from the sponsor of the competition, SmartDive. Prize for 3rd place - a cap with windproof inserts on the ears; Prize for 2nd place - a T-shirt made of professional material; The prize for 1st place is a SmartDive Polar Russian Edition 450 dry suit insulation.
