The Telegram channel "Man Overboard" has published an interview with a regular participant of the Moscow Dive Show Alexey Zozulya.
Where on our planet can you meet the whale of your dreams? Which of the giants is ready to extend a fin of friendship to a person? What do you need to know and be able to do to take photos underwater that can touch your heart? Mr. Tonga answered these and other questions.
"... A whale is the blue dream of many people who are not indifferent to the water element. But whales are different. Who would you call the most sociable?
A sociable whale is one that is well-fed! And in a place where it does not have to think about food for a long time. Therefore, I believe that the best contacts with humpbacks are in Tonga - in those places they reproduce and raise offspring, and since they do not eat all these three months, it is time to pay attention to us - their lovers. And although humpbacks are doing the same thing all around the globe at about the same time, it is in Tonga that this type of tourism has been practiced for quite some time, and the whales have become accustomed to being treated correctly. A whole generation of whales born there return every year, and at any age, when they see us, they remember how they frolicked in their distant childhood."
